CAP CASS HDR Supervision Development Workshop

This workshop seeks to fulfil a need for College-Level training and support for supervisors and associate supervisors working with HDR students.

The sessions and activities detailed in this schedule endeavour to build on supervision development workshops run by the ANU during 2016, and to expand on topical issues relating to HDR supervision.

In organising this workshop, we acknowledge that successful HDR supervision may operate differently by discipline, and that College-level supervision training and support is necessary for the continued professional development of academics with supervisory responsibilities.

We also acknowledge the significant disciplinary overlap between areas within the College of Asia and the Pacific and the College of Arts and Social Sciences, and have sought to provide supervision development activities relevant to academics from both Colleges.
